If you’re interested in joining the club, please get in touch by emailing oulscsecretary@gmail.com or messaging us on Facebook or Instagram. In weeks 1 and 2 of Michaelmas term we hold free taster sessions but if you’d like to try out lifesaving outside of these weeks, please get in touch and we can arrange a taster session for you. You can also sign up to our mailing list by emailing lifesaving-subscribe@maillist.ox.ac.uk so that you can stay up to date with training session info.
Membership for the 2024/25 academic year costs £30, and some colleges offer reimbursement for sports club memberships.
Prerequisites-
You don’t need to have any prior experience of lifesaving, but you must be able to swim 50m unaided if you would like to join the club, so that we know you’re safe in the water!
